Fabric Fayre, Great Bookham - by Helen D

What a fantastic day at the Fabric Fayre - this was a first for a group of Patchwork shops who decided to get together and hold a very traditional quilters day. No stalls selling handbags or chocolates just lots of fabrics & patterns & the usual bits & bobs that we all need. In total there were 12 traders with stalls and 6 mini workshops spread throughout the day and boy was it busy!

The entrance fee, money from the raffle and refreshments is all being donated to St Alice Hospice and they think we raised almost £1500 which is just fantastic and all the traders said they had great days too. So all in all a real success so watch this space as they may decide to do it again once they have all recovered!!
