November Meeting - by Jean C

After a busy and fun packed October meeting, it was down to earth for November.

Our evening started with the usual notices, from Julia, with two pieces of good news.

As a result of the raffle and tombola in October we were able to send a cheque for £150 to Linus. We also heard that storage room had been found for our exhibition equipment.

A proposed Facebook page A/C has now been set up for members.

Our evening workshop saw us making ‘Christmas Trees’ under the guidance of our Committee members. These proved to be quite tricky, until we had successfully made the first two rows of ‘branches’. There was a great variety of fabrics chosen by members. The results should look very attractive.

The evening concluded with Show and Tell with another 32 quilts ready to be delivered to Linus.
