A Visit to Plush Addict - by Linda

I have just spent a very enjoyable morning at an open day at Plush Addict fabric warehouse near Edenbridge. The welcome was very warm and friendly and included coffee and cake.  First impressions of the warehouse were great – it's light and spacious with aisle after aisle of delicious looking fabric.

Plush Addict began as a small retailer selling fleece fabric but has expanded. They now stock a large selection of patchwork cottons, waddings, Madeira machine embroidery threads and other haberdashery items. Joy of joys, they also sell dressmaking patterns!

The fleece fabrics come in a large range of patterns as well as plains and include the very soft snuggle fabric in a variety of textures.  Their range of patchwork fabric is very different from those in any of our other local shops. There is a huge range of plain Kona cotton and other basic designs.

If you need any kind of novelty fabric you will be spoilt for choice – everything for baby, children's or adult projects. The general patchwork fabrics are fresh designs in bright and modern colourways.

Although it is primarily an internet business, they do have open days or will accommodate personal visits if you contact them first to arrange a suitable time.

I will certainly be shopping with them again- it's only 40 minutes from Beckenham - and would recommend you check out its website
