2016 Fabric Fayre

Fabric Fayre - by Jill

I visited the Fabric Fayre at Great Bookham with two friends and there was plenty of parking, althugh only one lane entry and exit!

There were about twelve traders to wande round, with one selling metre pieces of fabric at £5 if you bought two. A lot of sharing going on! There were make and take sessions and Julia Gahagan had a room to show her patterns and demonstrate her work. There were no quilts or displays to look at so we moved on to Polesden Lacy for lunch.

The Fayre was an interesting venture for the traders and I hope it was successful for them. We had an enjoyable day out on a lovely hot day.

Note: Shirley Quilters has received an email from Patchwork Cabin. Next year, Fabric Fayre will be on Saturday 26th August 2017.
