Project Linus

Shirley Quilters has supported Project Linus regularly since 2016, donating a vast number of quilts, along with numerous knitted items for premature babies

For the years 2016 to 2025, 2,481 quilts, 286 knitted blankets and 379 Christmas stockings have been donated. Other items donated include bonding squares and knitted items such as Levi Bears, Izzy Dolls, mittens, bootees, hats and cardigans

Annually Shirley Quilters make 24 small quilts with matching stockings for St Helier Premature Baby Unit. Stockings are also made for the Evelina Children's Hospital who provide gifts to be placed in the stockings

Donations for 2026:-

January - 38 quilts, 1 quilt top, 9 knitted blankets, 18 pairs of bonding squares and 1 knitted cardigan
