Project Linus

Shirley Quilters has supported Project Linus regularly since 2016, donating a vast number of quilts, along with numerous knitted items for premature babies. 

For the year 2016 Shirley Quilters donated 197 quilts to Project Linus

For the year 2017 Shirley Quilters donated 256 quilts to Project Linus

For the year 2018 Shirley Quilters donated 291 quilts, 43 blankets and various knitted items for premature babies

For the year 2019 Shirley Quilters donated 291 quilts, 24 small Christmas stockings, a selection of "Bead Bags" for children with cancer, 63 blankets and various knitted items for premature babies

For the year 2020 Shirley Quilters donated 238 quilts, 26 small Christmas stockings, 29 knitted blankets, 39 knitted hats and 32 pairs of bonding squares.  

For the year 2021 Shirley Quilters donated 187 quilts, 27 small Christmas stockings, 48 knitted blankets, 38 knitted hats, 53 pairs of bonding squares and 3 cardigans

For the year 2022 Shirley Quilters donated 291 quilts, 24 small Christmas stockings, 34 knitted blankets, 143 knitted hats, 66 pairs of bonding squares, 40 pairs of bootees (for premature babies ), 25 pairs of mittens (for premature babies) and 20 Izzy Dolls

For the year 2023 Shirley Quilters donated 225 quilts, 24 small stockings with quilts, 209 Levi bears, 30 pairs of bonding squares and 212 knitted items

For the year 2024 Shirley Quilters donated 234 quilts, 24 small stockings with quilts for St Helier  Premature Baby Unit, 100 stockings for Evelina Children's Hospital, 115 Levi Bears, 145 pairs of bonding squares, 28 knitted blankets, 8 pairs of bootees (for premature babies) and 44 knitted hats

                              August              18 Quilts, 7 Knitted Blankets and 1 pair of Knitted Bootees.
