2016 September Meeting

We had a very good turnout this month. The meeting opened with everyones' challenge projects being handed in. The Blue Challenge, Sylvia Critcher's workshop items and Mary Gamester's workshop items, there was quite a pile. That was followed by the notices which will also be emailed to members.
Then came the Linus quilt show and tell. At this meeting there were over thirty quilts to view, all of which will go to the charity. Several of the quilts were made at group evenings where members were put into groups working on a production line!
Our next meeting, on 18th October, will be an open meeting and the above challenges will be displayed. Jennie Rayment will be judging the results. There will also be a tombola of handrafted items made by Shirley Quilters and a raffle.
After refreshments, Julia gave out details of a Christmas tree that we will be making at our November meeting.
