2019 Farnham

Farnham Maltings Quilters' Fair, Sunday, 13th January, 2019 - by Jill

It was as busy and bustling as usual. The Hall and lower floors full of fabric at reasonable prices to tempt you. Fabric, wadding, calico, haberdashery all on display from Doughty's, Lady sew and Sew, Fabrics Galore and many more traders.

Upstairs there were displays organised by Farnham Quilters, Castle Quilters, United Quilters, Village Green Quilters, Heather Quilters and several other groups. Project Linus were represented and a Quilters' Guild stand and Young Quilters' room.

I bought fabric for Shirley Quilters to make more Project Linus packs, which I hope our members will enjoy making up.

I met up with several friends for coffee and then met my husband in a coffee shop for cake round the corner in the town! There is a large car park which is free on Sundays!

Any knitters might be interested in a Knitting Festival at Farnham Maltings on 22nd to 24th February.
