December Zoom Party - Tuesday 15th December 2020

It was lovely to see so many members attending the Meeting (25) at this busy time of the year – wearing festive jumpers, headwear and earrings (even some flashing).

Clare very briefly gave notice that Membership will be starting in January 2021 to cover payments for Insurance, the Hall Hire, Zoom Licence and Guest Speakers. Eileen will soon be sending members e-mail instructions for on-line payments.

Clare organized some Quilting related word Bingo games, which went down very well and this was followed by Quilting related Charades – again this was funny and refreshing.

We also managed time for a ‘Show and Tell’ of Xmas makes including Masks, Scrub Bags, Cushion Covers, Advent Calendar, Decorations and a Photo Memory Quilt.



Time went so quickly, but it was a very enjoyable meeting.

Thanks to Kate for hosting the meeting, especially as it seems very likely that Zoom will be a prominent feature in the next few months for Shirley Quilter Meetings.

The meeting finished with one of Clare’s witty little Christmas stories – enjoyed by all.

To close, just to say that we missed those who could not attend and would like to wish all of our Shirley Quilter members a very HAPPY CHRISTMAS and a Covid Free 2021.
