On a very hot and humid evening, SQ met by ZOOM instead of in person in the Church Hall - so glad because I, for one was melting - including 'the brain'
Claire gave us some Quilting Event news, including special news that both her and 'the Kilted Quilter' are once again able to resume their business at Quilt Shows, the first being in Northern Ireland. We wish her dad continued good health.
Thirty members were in 'virtual attendance' and suggested makes for the Tombola Stall, ie. Items suitable for children (who love the Tombola) a Door Hanger to hold handbags; Xmas tree decorations (from a recent Meeting speaker); bottle cover; fabric bags for cleansing pads; and many more. We need as many items as possible as the Tombola stall will run for the duration of the Exhibition. So - get sewing, Ladies.
Members were also reminded to complete their Exhibition Forms (to be returned by the end of August 2022 meeting. These include items from the following :

Give us a Clue -a book, film other TV programme 2022
Block of the Week Quilts (made during Lockdown)
Any general Quilts made during lockdown
