AGM and Quilters’ Question Time – by Gill Cargill

Deirdre opened the meeting, swiftly running through the notices.

The AGM then commenced. The minutes were agreed. The treasurers report given by Jackie and Eileen updated everyone on the members. Deirdre recapped the past year and the incredible achievements of the SQ members. The AGM was ended with an applause of appreciation the job the committee do.

After a coffee break the evening was then handed over to a panel of volunteers for Quilters' Question Time. A range if questions was posed to our panel from how they got into quilting, to their most challenging quilt. SQ members had also brought in their favourite gadgets they couldn't live without ranging from a door viewer, bobbin side winder, wooden clapper, knee lifter and a seam guide.

All in all, it was another enjoyable meeting at SQ.
