Christmas Tree Festival at Shirley Methodist Church

 Shirley Quilters was invited to take part in the above event at the Church where the monthly meetings are held.  All interest groups that meet at the Church were invited to take part in this event and decorate a tree according to their particular interest.

A big thank you to Kate E and Erica who went along to set up the tree and decorate it on behalf of  Shirley Quilters.  All the decorations on this tree were made by the members.  Each year in the run up to Christmas, an evening is set aside in the programme for "A Christmas Make", the makes on the tree have been made over several years.  All being well, the tree will make another appearance at the December meeting.

If you wish to be a part of these celebrations you can visit the Church on Friday 6th December 11 a.m. - 6 p.m., Saturday 7th December  10 a.m. - 6 p.m. or Sunday 8th December 12.00 - p.m. There will also be musical performances and a Christmas cafe.  Further details can be found on the Shirley Methodist Church website.
