Malvern Spring Quilt Show 2025 - by Jill H

A short holiday to go to the Malvern Quilt Show and visit one of my sons near Bristol.

I went to the show today, 15th May, a chilly morning but otherwise a beautiful sunny day. The show takes place at the Three Counties Showground beside the Malvern Hills.

The main hall was full of traders, many of the usual ones and many different ones. The marquee displayed all the quilts. There were several categories with some lovely quilts. The entries were mainly from the surrounding counties and many longarm quilted.

The classes took place in a separate building.

I was surprised how many ‘special offers’ there were on fabrics and I took advantage and shopped! I was looking for a selection of fabrics to add to my stash to use for the upcoming Blockheads 6 programme. Also fabric for the Shirley Quilters' Project Linus projects.

A very enjoyable show to visit.
