Quilts, Quilts, Quilts

Our members have been busy.  Here are their many and various creations.

These include a number of quilts inspired by free block patterns issued by Moda and other fabric suppliers.

For Thea or Honey - by Jane M

I saw this fabric in the Little Shop of Fabrics and thought of my granddaughter who is mad about dogs. I made the quilt for her, reflecting the bright colours in the doggy fabric in the blocks. Thea hasn't seen the quilt yet, so if she doesn't like it, it might go down well with Honey (the dog)!

This is ... Eavan - by Sue

Number three granddaughter saw an on-point quilt at an exhibition and liked it.  I started this six years ago, made all the blocks over time and then put it to one side.  Now retired, I decided to finish it for her 21st birthday, which I have.  The quilt has blocks showing all her likes at the time and October Sunbonnet Sue for her birth month.
